De hedendaagse beeld - en mediacultuur heeft een grote invloed op het tot stand komen van de werken.

Eigen fotografie en bestaande foto's, ook gepauzeerde tv - beelden dienen als bron en als sturing om de realiteit van de opnames om te zetten naar zijn eigen gevoelswereld.

The artist is always on the look for enduring/ haunting images, partly out of his own past and surroundings, partly from his own mind and remembrance.

The contemporary image and media culture has also a big influence on the coming about of the work.

His own photography, existing pictures and even paused tv-images serve as a source and steering to transfer the reality of the images to his own emotional world.
